Alder Hill was created over the course of two years by a group of inspired people. The Alder Hill chatroom first saw the light of day at Outpost10F, a Science Fiction chatsite and community where these inspired people first met. Half a year later, the Alder Hill core group decided to leave Outpost10F and set out on their own. The new Alder Hill is a site consisting of not only a chatroom, but also a vast Library, and a Town Board message board system. Creation of the site and the world was very much a team effort. Alder Hill, as a unique fantasy world and continuing adventure, encourages all members to contribute with their creativity. Alder Hill owes a debt of gratitude to Outpost10F, the cradle where it was born and raised, and to all the people who had a hand in building both the old and the new site.
