We of Alder Hill are, of course, Fantasy fans. J.R.R. Tolkien's classic work "Lord of the Rings" was and still is a big influence on every aspect of Fantasy. In fact, one might say that Professor Tolkien singlehandedly redefined the genre for the modern age. Nothing in the Fantasy and in the real world at the moment is as huge as the long-anticipated final film in the Lord of the Rings trilogy directed by Peter Jackson, "Return of the King" (and no, it's not about Elvis). With these articles, along with many site-wide specials timed for the release of "Return of the King", we want to commemorate both the films and the literary work behind it.
